So apparently terf / 'gender critical' accounts sticking the genderqueer flag in their avatar / cover photo is a thing now??
Heads up, folks. pic.twitter.com/zaO0ktSoht
This tweet shows the comparison to the earlier suffragette movement colors:
From the Edwardian era you ignoramous. Read some bloody history. Iβm embarrassed for you.. pic.twitter.com/nCJ3XqAxKZ

Funnily enough, this is very similar to the genderqueer flagβs colors:
Why do gender critical accounts use the genderqueer flag?

By coincidence, the historical suffragette colours are very similar to the genderqueer flag.
The suffragette flags has seen resurgence w GCs, often stylised as a horizontal 3 stripe flag. pic.twitter.com/UXcfSkDj44
Note that some people do use these colors to represent the genderqueer flag, not the suffragette flag.
Red Square π₯ (June 2020)
This square can be found in usernames and bios on Twitter and it is a mark of the Gender-Critical movement, started by this graphic created by Jebrux:
Jamie. The days women had to explain to men are over.
— Dr. Brooski π₯ (@DrBrooski) June 29, 2020
We don't want male bodied people in our spaces.
No salacious rape story for you, no domestic violence to titilate like real life pornhub, pleading for you to decide whether we deserve it or not.
JUST WOMEN SAYING NO. pic.twitter.com/7DJuH2hboG
After that, a campaign started to add the red square to represent this movement.
Dinosaurs π¦/π¦ (September 2021)
In response to a comment about trans rights where Shadow Justice Secretary David Lammy told a Labour Party conference fringe event βdinosaurs exist in our own partyβ who want to βhoard rightsβ, the dinosaur emoji, and dinosaur costumes, was claimed by gender critical people:
women and girls who don't want be forced to undress with male strangers and colleagues
— Maya Forstater (@MForstater) September 27, 2021
Thaat's who @davidlammy is calling dinosaurs trying to "hoard rights"
